Looks interesting. The windage tray is similar to the mk3 diesel tray (but
    not the same).

What are the red flaps made of?

Interesting, though I don't recognise it.

Shall put up a pic of a TSR later for comparison.

Iguana, do you have a pick of the underneath?

I was told mine was a Schrick one but it doesn't look like any I've seen before, plus its still attached to the block so haven't inspected the inards yet.

Would be interested to see the TSR one.

Handy to see still, very similar to the design of duff's that barny posted up for me and me n' dad copied. [:$] then just fitted it with a diesel windage tray like steph's one above.

Have you got any pics of the one you made ian?

Ive got the templates to make one for the 16v jsut need to get the plates brazed in.

What finish did you leave inside the sump? I was jsut going to get the whole sump bead blasted and leave the inside bare metal.

Don't paint inside the sump whatever you do ;)

Duff bought one from *** and the paint blocked up his oil strainer :thumbd:

Yeah same happened with rradogolfmans old mans audi, came from the same quality tunining company aswell!!

Only the std one is powdercoated so if you weld in some plates you have to strip it all back
