   there is a metal sleeve, then a different spring and finally a washer that needs tapping on to put the column back under compression:
   811419548A - contact ring - 2.05+VAT
   823419667 - spring - 0.57+VAT
   N 90182401 - clamping washer - 0.77+VAT
