Ok you lot are gonna cal me slack but cant find any pictures from when i first got the car in 2000. Ill try and find them some time. But to give you and idea.

It was a standard looking Mk2 gti pre 90 spec. like this one except Atlas Grey and lot tattier.

Then some BBS RA's got added(my first set of alloys wooh!) and it got lowered by about 50mm with spax psx kit about 6 months later.

Then i took it off the roadabout a yr later. And it went throught the stages in the bodyshop

and returned to me some time later like this. Big f**kin grin that day i can tell you [:D]

And then i did this before crimbo as u all know [:^(]

Currently in the garage and im in the proces of ripping the 8v digi out in preparation for engine bay refurb and new front end, bonnet, wing etc and gonna drop the 9A in while im there. There u have it. Making the best of bad situation as it were.

Heres a small selection of mine...

1.8 8v, first of the digis with very low miles 1 owner

absolutly stock when I got it, this was after a couple of years when it

featured polys, big brakes, adjustable konis and a tweaked 2.0

    this was another year later

cant find a nice pic of the 16v before, but it was a very nice one, all

shiny like Veaglie's. Then we got it and raped it for another 200k then

    this happened one day!

This one was a state when we got it

    now its like this

This one was very nice after I'd tidied up the damage where it was TWOC'd

then left it sat gathering filth and rusting for 3 or 4 years.

Swapped the 2.0 into it and havent washed it yet :p.

yup! same garage a couple of years back, not a lot of room to move in
there as you know. I had to cut the roof off the car to get engough
clearance to lift the shell over the engine and suspension after I'd
cut the mounts off. Incedentally, thats the car your ARB and weighted
shift link came from if my memory serves me!
