Anyone done anything about this, i.e. group buy?

A friend of mine bought an S3 recently with Haldex issues. I've got a cheap handeld scanner that isn't reading anything, it reads ABS codes etc on my Mk3 but I'm now looking for something more substantial.

For 20 I'm happy buying a Gendan lead and $99 is cheap enough for the Rosstec download, will this read what we're looking to find on the 2002 S3?

 

Group buy on this would be nice. Or anybody selling a genuine cable?

 

Been looking to get myself Vag Com. Seen someone selling VCDS 12.12 & cable for 35. Apparently its the full version, covers all years & only downside is that it wont update. Worth a punt??? Itll just be for home use on myself & dads Mk5

 

Sounds like an ebay copy lead to me with a hack on the software. Hence why you don't update it

 

Is 35 an ok price for a 'full' working copy? Just previously seen the leads on ebay with a link to download the lite version

Roughly how much we talking ? As I don't need it for any mk2's yet ( if I AEB one then yes ) and I'll be selling the A6 in December when my Tesla arrives
