http://www.c64audio.com/ I managed to find the back in timeI II IIIfor download . Love the Rob Hubbard stuff
Ah, class stuff. I was a C64 man back in the day - did lots of programming on C64s. My all time favourite game music has to be from the original Shadow Of The Beast on the Amiga.
I've got the original "Back In Time" CD somewhere My favourite C64 music had to be Mega Apocalypse I think, or the Ocean Loader...
Just found "back in time live" for download .......knew broadband was good for something edit You know you can play the sid tunes easilly dont you? free sid tunes: (best of) http://www.skytopia.com/games/c64/c64.html (over 30,000!!! sid songsin one 42mb file) http://www.hvsc.c64.org/ & the player: http://sidplay2.sourceforge.net/ http://www.gsldata.se/c64/spw/sidplayw.html Edited by: fthaimike
I have a tape somewhere that came with Outrun on the c64 that had the outrun soundtrack... recorded off the arcade machine at Sega's hq source Edited by: GTD.
Outrun - how cool! I've got somewhere (up in the loft I think) a Cassette tape that was given away on C+VG (I think?) that had "proper" versions of the Outrun music tracks, VERY cool!
Does the prancing horse on the back change direction when you steer left/right and the lass fall out and female dog slap you when you crash Ohh I need to get out more, which I hadnt killed my old "round" C64 doing the paperclip action replay cart trick [:^(]
Hubbard *Sanxion loading music* I'd recommend getting the winamp plugin sidamp however you'll need to use a classic skin if you want to be able to see the bar that lets you switch between the different tracks in a sid file.Shame it hasn't been updated with Winamp 5's modern skins, but aside from that it works well
Yep if you like hubbard i'd advise you to download the dvd to see the guy play the music live on keyboard......gave me shivers hearing sanxion with a live on guitars & keyboard.
PM sent . I also have the Outrun music cassette somewhere in my mum's attic along with loads of Zzap64 mags .
More classic C64 tunes here in a podcast style & plays the original & the remixed up to date ones: http://c64takeaway.com/ there's a wicked tune in podcast 36 about half way through, it blurs from one tune to the next of the classics. & the last ninja still makes the hair stand on the back of my neck when i hear it. I always get full up when listening to C64 tunes as it's the one thing my dad bought me & i remember him when i listen to them [:^(] .
There's a couple of versions of Comic Bakery done through the years & still a class tune. Delta is another fav along with, rambo, commando, last ninja, wizball & Ocean loader.
http://c64takeaway.com/ Podcast 36 from 16:20mins to 25:25mins has a few good C64mixes blended & has two greats: Commando @start (done as fast dance beat) & Last Ninja @ 21:40 (done with rock guitars).
