Podcast 39 is now out on C64takeaway:

    http://c64takeaway.com/2007/08/25/episode-039-from-deep-within-the-swedish-woods/

    00:00 - 03:25..........Jeroen Tel - Unnamed SID (Live from Utrecht, September 2006).

04:40 - 08:45..........2nd song is a live rendition of "Ghosts & Goblins" by Nada - Bossa with a guitar which sounds amazing.

    15:08 - 19:45..........The St. Albans Rob Hubbard Fan Club - Ace 2

19:46 - 23:22..........Reyn Ouwehand - Garfield (from the album The Blithe, the Blend and the Bizarre)

    25:50 - 30:13..........Paradroid 001 remix by Peter W (drum & bass).

33:00 - 35:12..........Early version of Hey Hey 64k remix (should have left it be as it's just a copy of his hey hey 16k spectrum version)

This was the original of hey hey 16k (quite funny at the time):

will look at home, can't really listen at work.

"monty on the run", the music when you'd died, always loved that.

in fact, i was sad enough to tape some of them too! i bet it's still in a drawer in my old room at my mams.

Commando (loved the bit in the game where they all rush out from behind the gates),

Giana Sisters (god banned by nintendo because it was Mario Bro's),

Green Beret (i now have on my Nintendo DS on Konami arcade classics),

IK+ (was a wicked game & the bonus stages were hard),

kikstart 2 (used to play this against my mate & i think you could design courses?),

Kungfu Master (I actually completed it in the arcade at the time),

The Way Of The Exploding Fist (I jumped the 1st time it loaded when that guy screams on the title screen),

Terra Cresta (looked like a ripoff of Xevious).

Still classy, amazing what the old sid chip could do back in the day.

The remixed/sampled stuff is also good.

slayradio the Swedish radio (in english) goes out live today & every wednesday, you can also ask for live requests in the chatroom (& get yourself named on the radio for each request played):

It's a bit bonkers at times but a good remix radio electro station with a c64 theme.
