That's brilliant where did you get the rings from, out of a bearing? Cruise ABS abs ESP ver. 2 so much better than MK4 ESP 1

I retrofitted auto hold into my B6 and its the best mod ever. The B6 I'm driving at the moment while my own has none of the electric features and you'd be surprised how you miss them. Can you put auto hold onto the Octavia system?

I have a B6 too - 2008 highline with autohold. Had to replace EPB module due to spurious fault.

I'm unsure about retrofitting - you'd need the rear hubs/calipers and other modules that are pre-configured to expect that feature i'd guess.

I'd like to see it done, but i'm not feeling like yet another challenge just yet! :)

The caliper spacing is the same as MK5 rear calipers I know that. Probably couldn't get the modules to talk to he Octavia system as the BKD you gave was never used in the Passat, which ran a Siemens ECU

Yes, although they can appear very similar to other vehicles, the modules are the key to success - sourcing them from the same car is a sure way to avoid headaches......

Most modules have about 30+ different part suffixes and the chances of only one being right are high. Anything is possible, some guy has done a DSG retrofit in the UK

BXE Caddy I think. Darkside have done a load of engine conversions I know but this is a different kettle of fish. Box, shafts, clutch, clutch lockout, shifter, wiring, engine ECU etc. The 1.9 ECUs are already able to accept DSG coding I think though a map would have to be grabbed and adjusted to suit.

Is it the same sort of idea on the back only that the rings are built into the bearing itself...?

Not been on for a while but looking good!!

I'm desperate to get the dsg into mk1 but can't see it happening anytime soon ????. Bought mk5 Haldex setup too. A pal of mine is retro fitting mk4 Haldex with factory Haldex controller into mk2 so is messing with abs sensors and steering angle sensors too!

Hi there i am from Greece . jay you are making really nice and smooth progress . i need your help a bit. I have a seat ibiza fr 1.8t 20v . i need to get the real wheel speed from the rear abs sensor (2 wires) and transform it to a square wave pulse in order to get the vehicle speed so i could input it on my boost controller. The boost controller input is a square wave pulse from 5v to 14v . plus I have found some collars with hall sensors but i have no room to put the so that they could turn around with the wheel. So please help.....

I wish I could say progress was made this year at all.........I have moved the car to new unit and the P-car has taken alot of time early in the season - engine out, brakes work, clutch, headers and silencers (milltek) etc.
I'm ready to get stuck in again however just acquired another Mk2 (G60) so the TDi conversion might be an uber-slow burner!

    Pics of both:-
