yeah, gotta get the really stubborn rust off and then paint them, or maybe powdercoat along with some other stuff, need to find someone that does it locally and get some prices.

anyone recommend any brand of paint for doing them?

    Cheers,
    Jon

try and get your mitts on polyurethane paint, its the next best thing to powdercoat and is chemical resistant.its used to paint trucks, brake dust won`t touch it. it should be available from motor body specialists, as a two part mix

if you have asthma though i recommend you get someone else to do it, [xx(]
    and wear a mask!!!

im currently doing some brake calipers that were severly rusted but as said with the vinegar and a wire brush in a drill they are looking unbelievably like new and plan on etch priming then using some hammerite aerosols

Im just wondering if i can use this method to remove rust on some BBS RM bolts I have, If i were to put all the bolts on a metal base, makeing sure they were all making good contact, or screw them into something metal, in theory this could clean them up? can anyone see an issue with this?
