    am i right in thinking a 1.3?

ive f**ked the traders policy off, as i didnt fancy sticking to the geezers 5k excess rule (as if someone claims on it, he loses his ncb and bumps the premium up 5k)

so as the escort is out of tax and mot, i may aswell take this time sort out the respray and such.

which means i want me a golfske, but as i now have to pay for regular insurance, i want something boggo that i can rat look.

not fussed if its diesel/auto/slow tbh, just gotta be cheap on insurance:lol:, just checked on norwich union and they want 2k for a 1.3, so anywhere thats good for insurance aswell wouldnt go a miss :)

2k? how many convictions do u have?
norwich union have always been the best with me- my 1.6 is 477 TPFT and im 20.
though about a mk2 polo or something like that? mk2 golf is blatently the best, but if you want real cheap insurance have a look in to polos

I only had to pay an extra 100 when I converted my 1.3 to 1.8. For a 1.3 they are expensive to insure. Currently paying 550 a year third party with HIC, thats will all modifications declared, 2 years NCB and 5 points for speeding.

have u thought about pass plus? cost me 100, took 45 mins (my instructor was pretty cool [IMG]) and my first quote for a 1.6 cl was 900 from norwich union. woulda been 1800 without pass plus!
    so i saved 800!

oh, i was 18 at the time, no NCB no convictions TPFT

CIS may give you a bit of discount if you've been driving on other policies
for a year. You should also be able to get 3rd party cover for any other
car if you take out a fully comp policy.
