    common renault fault picked up in the R5 and never fixed by the looks of it, real simple engineering fix on the cable and they missed it [:s]

    Reading Stevies post prompted me to mention why I'd never buy a car made by garlic eating sheep burners again.
    After various probs on the 19 16v, the final straw was braking at a junction after leaving the house in the morning. Rain the night before. Gods honest truth, about 5 litres of water fell out of the roof all over me. The sunroof lectrics started to smoke [xx(] , I was soaking, and already on my toes to the nearest newsagent for a copy of Autotrader. :clap:

    Later on I will find the homepage of some geez who's got a 19 16v.
    The guy's listed all the things he's had repaired to it sin ce he bought it.

    Needless to say, I would have sold it before the bills had reached 500.
