officially announced, next game will be modern warfare 2 so not "marines in space" then, dissapointing! can't wait
I think anything "space" is not a patch on the real world. I want to know the weapons I'm using and fight against "people" etc. Much more realistic and with a sense of immersion than some space guff with aliens and lasers.
couldnt aggree with u more, i hate space shooters, real weapons and real surroundings is far better and realistic then space age games that have laser guns ect ect, .
still on order from lovefilm, but resistance 1 was cack and a few speople i've spoke to played resistance 2 once then binned it
take that back Resistance 1 co-op campaign seriously derailed my education for a month or so, completed it with a mate on all difficulty settings including the one you unlock after completing it on the hardest setting As a game its not amazing but its good fun and well worth 20 in a closing down woolies! Completely different type of game to COD etc though

some new info has been leaked, infinity ward have only said some of it is fake, some/alot could be real: * Vehicles will be in MW2 * M16, ak47 and M4 will return. * using stopping power will only be OHK at head, neck, and torso (abdomen, limbs, and hands/feet will not) * M40 will return, ACOG damage boost will be fixed * Scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, G360 will not return * There are more unknown weapons that will not return * New sniper rifle: SR25M (United states forces) * New Assault rifle: Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant) * New Assault rifle: L85A2 (United Kingdom forces) * Total weapons in multiplayer are said to be around 35 * Favourite Modern warfare 1 maps will return * Helicopters, air strikes, UAV will return * Red dot sightings will come in different shapes for multiplayer (circular, square, original) * Snipers will have special grass camouflage (As seen in Modern warfare 1s campaign) * All perks will return from MW except eavesdrop and others will be altered *All gametypes will return from MW and all will have hardcore versions * New gametype: Secure (Call of duty version of capture the flag, however you capture the enemys Intel) * New gametype with unconfirmed name, similar to search and destroy, however instead of planting a bomb, the target will be an enemy player. * Solider customization for each class (and each country) * Sniper with silencers will NOT be in multiplayer * There are NO bots in local multiplayer * Similar version to Nazi Zombies, however details are unknown * NO guest players online, 1 player per console * Killcam save feature * There will be blood and gore * Offline/Online Co-op * Story takes place in the Middle East * Role as US marines return * Ken Lally voice work in campaign * Release is set for sometime in November * New army tags will be available to add different elements in campaign (similar to halo skulls) * Campaign-only weapons they've also set-up a twitter page for feedback from us here

I really really really really really REALLY hope the single player campaign is longer this time, otherwise they shouldn't bother with it and just go online only and go to town with it imho.
Short and sweet. Rather that then a trudge through for hours like WaW. ****e game And you dont mind playing it again. Ive played it twice now, first time on regular then veteran. Doing it on veteran takes ages anyway
Eh?? WaW was much shorter than MW. I completed in one sitting... Also I can`t believe someone, actually sat down and `translated` the `cryptic` trailer. It was fairly obvious what was going on...
I did it on veteran straight off stupidly. After countless deaths and one xbox later it took a long time. Felt longer. Probably because it was less fun and involving. Cant wait though. Only game worth buying this year? Because last year we had loads.
