Watch these and you'll be put off track days for life, probably. For those that don't venture into the Motorsport forum, here's a couple of vids from my car at Castle Combe on Saturday. http://www.aufg48.dsl.pipex.com/actiondayfordfrolics.wmv http://www.aufg48.dsl.pipex.com/vxclownatcombe.wmv Right Click please!
you got it right! that does put me off a bit. I'd be scared to get too close to some of those idiots.
"Im a Nova driva see, and i dont looks in me rear view mirror, i owns this track" You were right about the nobber in the XR4 and VX Gary when i was speaking to you yesterday, ttter poostabbers.
could i sense some anger in your driving there gary? why you picking on those nova's....kept away form other vw's, but second you came up behind those vauxhalls you went mad wtf were those fords doing? i'd have stayed behind them i think (and watched them take each to the barrier)...you're braver than me though! half those car should have been banned from track anyway, pi*s poor by the organisers for not doing anything tbh.
I was still annoyed from that tosspot in the VX220 (same session), saw red, saw the Griffin!! Edited by: GVK
I can tell you I would have had words with the organisers regarding both them stunts..... [:^(] Didnt see the Sin Bin used once all day
There was no control over anyone was there really, well other than they made you stop in line before going out on the circuit Next year I hear they're replacing the coned areas with signs saying "Do what the **** you want, mate" Edited by: GVK
I have sent them an email of serious complaint for Saturdays abysmal excuse for a track day. Having frequented combe for many years now, that is the worst I have seen the stds on track. Shocking and brings disrepute to the track day industry, which on proper organised days, Easytrack, bookatrack, Javelin etc etc shows Combe up for what they probably are:- Money Grabbing idiots who see the ker-ching before they see actual safety on track. The organisers are there to ensure safety for all participants and in this instance fail to meet their Duty of Care! It will bite them in a big accident, potential death and major ripple across the track day community. Other track day companies have formed an organisation to self police the standards and operating for safety and their longevity, but Combe clearly are'nt part of this on their Action Days. Very sad to see. There are some well run Combe days which I personally enjoy a lot, but these Action Days are absurd. Rant off.. but combe need their ar$e kicking for continuing to hold these nutter days without redress. Edited by: badger-bill
well put bill...i saw some bad driving when i was down there but its not untill you see video footage like garys that you see how 'BAD' it really all was!!!
