[:-B] Clever Andy, but how are you going to make sure they are sealed up as to not let any water/dirt in through the vacuum that is created when driving. IIRC standard ones sit in a rubber seal and have crap rusty screws holding them on which are a complete fatherless child to get off when you want to (or is that just mine?!). Side repeaters just sit in the wing quite losely.

PS Not dissing your idea, just thinking about the future and keeping it looking good.

Tiger seal shall be used to bond them on ;)

Not a huge chance of the filler cracking, the tailgate is very strong at that bend so it wont flex

Its bonded around the edge, the panel is trimmed to a close fit, then i have filled with epoxy resin instead of filler as its stronger. Tne just wet n dry'd it til it was the correct shape.

You cant see it in any of the pics as i did that after :)

cheers! i love you too [:^:]

i only stated that the bootlid looked a different colour in the pic and i was told i was self-indulgent - that's what i objected too, thats what got my back up...
and what it is to do with you i'm not quite sure...

i don't need the boot - i've been considering giving up for ages, it's just not not worth the hassle. [:D]

Actually that would look really good on a two tone car with two different colours, i was worried how the line would look when it met up with the tail lights as they have a line in them which is lower, but i think it looks fine, but want to see it on the car for final judgment.
