    Hopefully.

    17s too, sweet.

vw_gti_8v - cheers for that info mate but i'm after a mesh style. RX2s being top of the list!

Phil - how much are you lowered by?

I was thinking with 17s 30mm might be the safe bet? What about 40? Dont want to have to do any arch work.

You won't need arch work up to about 50mm with the RX2's. Then it will be the rear arches that will catch, if there are people in the back .:)

deep dish is the best way to go in the vdub scene, and the smaller the better mk3's sit nice on 15's with a bit of lowering, my wheels where on my mk3 before i put em on me mk2 they looked mint on either car..

I do like both styles - however I prefer deep dish wheels on other peoples cars...I appreciate it but wouldn't really want to go down that route myself.

RX2's are quite possibly my absolute favourite wheels so it's natural that that is the route I want to go down :p

Trouble is, if you want quite a deep dish and you want it low, you need arch mods due to the offset of a deep dish wheel.

BBS's are the best aftermarket wheel for Mk3's, IMO. They fit right, and also look the part whether it is a standard or full blown modded car. :)
