Not surprised at that... You need a car to bite you on track to realise your own/its limits.. Some of us are fortunate enough to graze an armco or travel down the Craners facing at 90degrees to the normal direction .....whereas others end up on their roofs in the McLeans gravel trap
got one of them super overrevvy motors... EAK! and digital throttle. modern age of Playstation does that to peeps..
I think the guy on the evo forum was a bit harsh. Most people take the effect of vehicle dynamics for granted unless they've done a racing course or whatever. Beforemy course, I was no better. Someone ought to tell the evo chap that not everyone who partakes intrackdays are professional or semi-professional racing drivers.
Good point Keith, the guy on evo is usually really helpful, has always given me loads of tips about tracks that are new to me. I think his harsh comments were sparked off by someone telling him that he didn't know what/how the accident happened I don't know what he races at the mo, but he's raced FPA in the past so he does have some idea on the subject. Whatever, it was really unlucky for the car to roll in that situation.
It should make you want one of these Looks like he got a bit carried away and ran out of talent Edited by: loadsavalves
With what money I've spent on my gearbox in the last 12 months I could've had a f**king Custom Cages weld in, fitted Edited by: GVK
yeah, i hadn't even thought about weight transfer before i did my course either....i sort of balanced the car naturally, but i know i've lost a car on rd by lifting mid corner...and then braking ...luck saved me.
