I had 3 of them in VW fitment I came across in a job I did Couldnt be arsed with them as they werent in the best condition so they went with the scrap
I know Remember asking what they were worth when I came across em. Been standing for ages and were not pretty. Asked the guy where the 4th ones were and he told me he had gassed the centre out of it 1500 for a set I probably got 25ish scrap value
Ive redrilled a few sets of BBS RS's in the past with no probs, even when fitted to my mk2 VR. these are Honda Prelude fitment redrilled, 7x15",et25,200 with help from Blovr6 Edited by: passat16v
Prelude were originally 4x114.3 werent they? Cool! Still waiting on a quote from a machine shop. I may end up just getting a quote and then directing a potential buyer in the right direction, save paying to get them done when i intend to sell them.
It is easy enough to drill to whatever pcd you wish but IMO re-drilled wheels just don`t look right, they may be safe, but seem a bit of a cheap ass way to sell wheels.I am thinking of those wheels with multi fitment. i would only do it if I thought it would be safe and be worth the hassle.I would be interested to know how much a machine shop charges for the service. You may increase your market but reduce the value in an other way also. Edited by: DAVE 2227
I think you'll find that it is the very tools that i have listed above that allowed your fancy machines to be built in the first place
Thats what im thinking too. Will probably just sell them as they are to be honest. Still rare as hell and in fantastic condition.
How much then ????????????? The machine shop which I use, now have a jig set up ready to do 4x100pcd. 1st time I done a set it cost 135- every other set costs me 85- (no set up costs) Paul
7x15" ET30 IIRC. Will look a bit lost on a Cossie though. Someone on Edition 38 is interested in them for a Ford KA.
