I've got rid of *most* of the understeer, but like the sound of the adjustability of the Neuspeed, could set it on full stiffness at the track then run it softer for the road, (knowing me though it'd get set stiff and left like it:lol:)

I know that removing the front bar will give the same effect but really you do need a certain amount of front roll control in the longer faster corners IMO.

I could fit 500 lb springs on the FKs to reduce roll that way, remember it's my only car and I have to retain *some* comfort for the amount of road miles I do

    'Compromise';)

28mm Neuspeed on rear of Ibiza... on max stiff, combined with 300lb rear springs...

    Balance is getting better.

Runs 25mm front Neuspeed ARB on 280lb springs.

Will revert to firmer front springs in due course for '04 track fun.

Is the Ibiza Cupra front bar from the same beezer as EDC1`s sig piccie Bill?? Just want to be sure..

Could I fit this to the front end for an immediate improvement (with standard rear) or do I need the Neuspeed rear to compliment it properly.... would use poly bushes etc etc

Bit tight on cash ATM, so doing it in 2 stages would be helpful!!!

Thanks for all the Good advice guys !! Much appreciated [:D]

'Most' of the difference is from the extra rear bar Chris.

Personally I wouldn't uprate the front without the rear.

No it's not. The 23 bar is from the newer Ibiza mk3. OE Mine runs the same as a 16v Golf I think so 18/19mm (??)

23mm Front ARB is MK3 Ibiza Cupra 20VT...
    Part No 6K0 411 309 23mm ARB (centre) with 20mm ends

You might try asking someone one SEATCupra.net if they have any spares, as a few peeps have upgraded to 25mm Neuspeed ARB's and may have them laying around..

    Worth a go?

i fitted the front bar before the rear for about a month,it did tighten up the handling and there wasn't any detrimental effects to the handling.the raer did add much more fun to the twisties though ;)

i'm having some interesting thoughts...what do you think of me keeping my o.e. front bar on my mkIII, and then gettin a neuspeed uprated rear (the adjustable one)? think i'll loose the understeer then?!!

Might be a bit hairy at this time of year with the 28 rear bar but 25 on 'hard' might do the trick.
