Anyone shed any light...was working fine no problem...now on my desktop and laptop i can't select a vehicle model and continue....very strange!
Version I have does the same. Delete all files from directory for ETOS and re-install it. Probably an easier solution but I don`t know it.
Mine did this ages ago. Never bothered to work out why or how to fix it though, I never got the hang of it so use ETKA instead anyway
I just sorted my one last night. Firstly uninstall ETOS. Then delete files C:\ETOS_Neu. I think I had to delete some in folder rather than entire folder as it wouldn`t let me. Reinstall ETOS I think there is about a 30 day period when it expires. Some person with a bit of savvy in computing could find a fix for it I think.
Mine does the same, haven't been able to 'continue' in ages. Going to uninstall it and speak to a programming friend at the weekend to see if he can fix it. I've also got a copy of ETKA that Im having problems installing? Anyone else had problems installing?
Had this happen a few times, I just uninstall it and reinstall it and it works fine. Don't think there is a time limit as it worked fine for over a year, then next time was a few months... guessing it could be related to installing/uninstalling other progs within windows.
Mine's gone too - and when I try to reinstall it keeps saying "hardlock not connected", and i've tried reinstalling the hardlock drivers over and over.
that's what i forgot to mention, u need to uninstall the hardlock too. and reinstall it after reinstalling etos.
it appears that a file in the C:\etos neu folder is modified to stop it being used. this worked for me: uninstall the whole lot. delete the etos neu folder. install it all again. before you run the program copy the etos neu folder to another drive or location as a backup. run etos as normal. when it goes pete tong simply copy and paste the backup folder back and the program should work ok again. happy geeking!
this def works. mine stopped again the other day. deleted the old etos neu folder, copied the backup etos neu onto the c drive and bob's your uncle, it works a treat now.
