Ok so today it finally seems my Scorpion Back box with twin DTMS has buggered, it makes a very loud rattling noise!

Soooooooooooo now i need a new exaust....the centre pipe (straight one down the middle) has been changed before but is also knacered, so it would seem i need a full s/s set up!

But where do i get one (Stafford Area) fitted well with no problems....missus has an 8v and had a Full Jetex system fitted by Jody at Midvw......but its not loud enough....i like the scorpion as its just right......its not too loud but loud enough.....the Jeetex don't seem to be my cup of tea.....

Any ideas? or what good exhausts to get? not sure what pipes to get either, i like my dated twin DTM set up also? maybe i could do for quads out the back but that would probably be expensive and look gay........i just don't know!

Money and budget is an issue as well, but i can stretch....need some other work done on the car so maybe another trip to Midvw will be best and see what Jody says about it all....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!

Any recommendations on the exhaust though? may go Scorpion again? [8D] [8D]

Custom exhaust is the way [8D] you can ask them to make a dtm style backbox if you like them, along with the full s/s system, which is cheaper than you think....

Go for a full magnex. Excellent build quality, perfect fit, look great and sound sweet when u nail it but not too loud when ur cruising. Only the saxo squad get powerflows !!! [:D]

 er no, the saxo boys get everything and anything for their cars!

you can get a full "custom" s/s system with boxes to make the level of sound YOU want, thats why they are custom made. Then again you get the problem, of R&D that only comes with magnex and such....

    errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

WEll......powerflow has been suggested.........and make a tail pipe up to whatever i want......maybe go for the quads???

Its definetly the back box which is buggered its getting worse, and now sounds likeka full on rally car or a subaru, very raucus sound....very embarrassing and worse at low revs?!!! sound familiar?

Is it dangerous or bad driving it around like that? apart from my image of course ;D [:D]

    All Scorion system do that...

Jetex is the way, but it appears you don't like the nice balanced sound that doesn't droan or sound tinny.... [:s] ;)

    I'm happy with mine though.

My magnex is ok, the stainless manifold makes a cracking noise, can't hear the exhaust note up front too much growl from the induction kit. Get a custom made one, they always fit better for a start, and don't knock like pre maid ones can do.
