    Cheers for the picture

Seems like a good way to do it mate, didn't know about the tab on the arch.

On mine I used two screws for the side sills trims. I secured mine like this for ease of cleaning. Takes seconds to remove them when needed. (security screws)

That body trim tape wont last long. You will need to scuff up the plastic with a fine scotch pad then degrease it with some panel wipe before you apply the tape to the sill. Paint will need degreasing also.

I used Seam Sealant/Body Sealant to bond the clips/trim to the sill,as mine always used to fall off before i had my car painted :)

Wouldn't bother with tape it's not great and the sill area does take a soaking which makes it fail easily. I used something called Tiger Seal, the only problem is i don't think i'll ever get them off again as it is incredibly strong.

The offside one decided to come off today [:x]

Was going around a roundabout and saw it flying over the road in the rear view. Few scratches but it seems to have survived!!

Now, what is the best thing to use to stick these on with ? I used some stuff that my Dad uses.
Its strong stuff and he uses it alot, as he's a builder. But it doesn't seem to have done the trick [8(]

Ive removed the other side now so will be sticking it back on with something stronger!!

Any recommendations on what to use please ?

    Cheers!!

I used something similar to tiger seal to help stick my rear arch trims on.
I'll have a look what its called.

^ don`t use it, it`ll just be hassle to clean off later. take it back..

don`t short cut. trim tape and Polyurethane sealant( tiger seal)

clean the sills properly before you start, with meths or panel wipe. white spirit leaves residue.

    Really ?? [8(]

Ive looked everywhere for Tiger seal but no one stocks it anywhere near me! Ive tried everywhere!

Was looking at various threads on the internet and this seemed to be the next best thing to use!
