    G60 Overhaul (Interior re-Trim Pg 7)

Got the car off the road to get some work done to her. Was seriously considering going down the bahn brenner road but Lee_GTI gave me another fabulous idea that why don'y you turn yours into a 16V G60 considering you have a 16V engine sat in your shed [:$] Good idea  so looking into the idea of doing that as i have no idea where to start and i guess it would at least be different [:D] but at the moment i'm trying to overhaul as much as the car as possible. Sadly i'm driving a 20 banger to and from work and its horrible Pics of progress really [:D]

Here she is all looking luvly and clean.

    Hmmmmmmm phat rims
    [IMG]

[xx(] Winter wheels. Amazing how small they look under G60 arches.

Oh and the 20 bread van Banger. (cost to put on insurance)

Once charger has come back and the engine bay has been cleaned up don't want shiny bits just want it "factory" clean with everything painted! [:s] Got a few bits and bobs on order waiting for them to come from germany and USA at the mo. Once all bits are here and back together car is off to a mate to be sprayed and a couple of rust patches sorted like round the windscreen etc. Hopefully want to have it all done by mid august  HOPE! Will update as things progress but should be absolutely mint by the time i've finished as i only work 3 days a week to have plenty of time to work on the old girl

It would be 1800 but funds don't permit at this stage in time to make it a 16V G60 [:^(] Still in a month or two then maybe i will have intially just want to get all the other work done first  [:D] But i blame lee for putting the idea into my head [:s]

Heres a piture of a supercharged 16v that was at Gti Festival.

Different layout to normal though, with the supercharger at the back of the engine.

Nice work, definetly looks much clenaer, that supercharger looks a
decent size, like a Vortech silent size, or a powerdyne supercharger,
but is the G-lader supercharger a centrigiful?

Are you sure your talking about the same beater? it looks like a current shape Civic to me...

While you have it apart, whip that inlet manifold off and finish flatting it and give it a polish. I started it but couldnt be bothered to finish it. Other than that its starting to look very nice and clean...

Im glad your looking after the old girl ! [:^(]
