my brother has a mintgolf rallye with coilovers, better discs, full blend charger, sns chip and 65mm pulley and is thinking of getting a vr6 corrado instead. i told him he is crazy as you dont see rallyes about and see much more corrados.

he has been listening to boys in his work about the rallye has no street cred unlike the 'raddo. who cares about street cred. i would much rather the golf. i have a highly tuned g40 and neither of these cars will touch mine but he knows this. he doesnt know what to go for.

keep the mint gunmetal greyrallye or buy a silvercorrado vr6.

ps LHD doesnt bother him at all so its not about that. he said that its easier to get bits for the raddo. but they will still not be cheap in my opinion

    what do you guys think

I'd go for a Rallye because of it's rarity, but i'd be scared the 'charger would blow.

he is annoyed at the moment because he is having trouble finding an abs sensor which is not vw as they are 95 each and he needs one definately and probably the other.

mot failed the other day as they said the lights need stickers on them because they are LHD. And its co2 is 7%

but once thats done its an awesome car again.

i like both the cars but when at a show and you have a mint rallye and a mint corrado next to each other i know i would prefer the rallye even if its a golf. its got character

Rallye for sure, it has more 'treet cred too doesn't it? Does in my eyes for sure. I like corrados and all, but rallyes are motorsport bred, surely the rareness adds to the 'street cred'. Get a tooth belt conversion, then it will turn more heads if thats what he wants.

Corrados looks sweet and a VR6 is very nice, but between that and a rallye, I'd have to take the rallye.

    Rallye is 4WD.

I would only have gone with the 'Rado had the Rallye been standard. Not taking anything away from the 'Rado they are lovely cars.

    Cheers, Jamie
