THey did take their cars back, and were met with a load of BS about how things were changed but must have worn out very quickly, etc. Never even a mention of a refund - so they voted with their feet. I'd rather stop them having other customers by telling people about the shocking service, than I would have a refund. And I wouldn't trust them to work on a car now any way. You are of course welcome to your opinion - and indeed they must have other satisfied customers otherwise they would be out of business. Why not try Artie sometime just for a change? He's cheaper, faster, and probably the most honest mechanic you could ever meet. He's even done quite a few "freebie" jobs on my mum's car, when he happened to have a cheap part in stock and thought her car would need a new one soon. Maybe we will have to agree to disagree on this one....
