depends on the mileage and condition really (or whether its a highline/got highline trim). anything from 3k - 6k??
Am i right thinking the highlines are green, black or purple and have no wheel arch trims??? Or is there something else to them???
don't forget that you can still get vr6's with nearly all the same benefits of a highline, even tho they aren't genuine highlines. there's loads with full leather, aircon, etc, etc that are just as good. a lot of advertisers have green/red/blue/silver vr6's up for sale with "highline trim" which just means they have the same trim as a highline without actually being a highline.
all later vr's have no arch trims. it was to make them look more upmarket, keeping up with the latest crop of new cars.
Its gone now, it was a green 5 door with leather and air con on ebay, tou probably all saw it. I got outbid in the dying seconds but the reserve never got met anyway. I might be a cheeky git and e-mail him and see if he'll take a lower price to save himself the hassle of relisting it
Blackberry and Mulberry i think are the only highline colours availiable..... The mk3 Golfs look much better without the arch body kit.
i like it with and wothout...depends on the colour a lot to me. a bright red one, like mine, wouldn't look right without the arches...but a silver one wouldn't like right with arches...if you get what i mean.
Beg to differ acf8181! Mines red without the arches and looks loads better than my mates that is the earlier spec with the arches. Looks a lot cleaner IMHO Each to their own though eh? cheers
well, thats it really. think you mostly go for whats already on the car. don't think i've ever seen a red mkIII gti/vr without arches, you got pics?
Sixpot has a red mk3 with no arches and its one of the nices i've ever seen. I dont know if he still posts on here though since the new forum was made.
The guy just e mailed me. I can have it for 2550, the only thing wrong is that it has a big scratch on one door. What do you reckon?????
