    No it was like that when purchased lol it gives access to subframe bolts for adjustment? Or they'd just been sheared off don't know but there's a couple of little plates to go over the holeslol might put some grip tape down or be a cheap skate and mix sand and paint together and apply liberally lol

    How did you get on with that baffled sump? A little heads up if your interested Micky, theres a brand new schrick sump for sale on ebay. Item number, 291178428983. 195 delivered.

    I know got a letter on Saturday saying I'd gone over my credit card limit [:s] I pay it off every month :thumbup: so was a bit of a shock can't think how I've spent osooooo much:cry:

    So not allowed to spend on anything by orders of the good lady ;)

    So finally got a little bit done on my sump today and the last few days :thumbup:
    Been really busy at work and home but when you're really busy you get in the mood to do morelol

    I told you I don't sell anything lol and it just goes on the companies account anyway:cry: we used to have a job now and again and I'd get some money for copper but not anymore [8(]

    Anyway my sump is a copy of a seat touring car one so way better performance than a shrick one just a bit heavier[:s]
    Next time I'll use thiner steel plate lol
    Got to drill a hole in the side baffle for the dipstick and refit put oil in my girl and fire her up :thumbup:

    So had a mare of a day stripping one of my big machines today after some [:x] decided it's funny to hide a big chunk of metal in some plastic I'm being payed to recycle [:s]
    Will post a picture when photobucket lets me log on [:x]

    Had my mate who's ace at auto electrics come over yesterday and had him do some tidying of electrics on the car :thumbup:
    Sorted the omex rev limiter inglove box replaced hazard switch as was causing indicator faults and a bit of gauge tidying :thumbup:
    He's going to come over again in the next few weeks and we'regoing to take out heater matrix as it don't work and put a ducted fan from the hot tunnel to screen demisters :thumbup:
    Also fit some vdo ans smiths gauges volt , oil temp,water temp etc
    Need to get sump back on sort some of my wheels and tyres and maybe wife permitting I can go to donnington track day :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: hopefully

    So out is coming the golf air box nackerd matrix etc and in is going a passat rear windscreen blower :thumbup:
    I'll put the intake next to the tunnel so warm air is blown on the screen :thumbup:

    So just ordered a load of stuff from jjc wheel studs and nuts diff oil some tyre conditioner for my old road tyres lol
    Some steel tyre valves and other stuff [:D] hope it comes soon so I can crack on with the old girl getting it ready for donni :thumbup: fingers crossed everything will work ok lol
