well after installing it took an hour

getting it to work took 2 hours and playing it for three hours

i have come to the conclusion

that half life two is excelent!

lol i have to have all my graphic setting set to 0 or the game just crashes, i had to write something into the command line to get the menu's to work, but it still looks fantastic, would look so good on a deacent spec machine

the realism of falling and moving objects is fantastic, just got my hands on the gravity gun so gonna do some damage with that [:D]

but now im tired and its stressed me out getting it to work so im going to bed!

The only complaint I have is I think they overdid it with the
'put heavy/light objects on/under/near a ramp type thing to make it pivot so you can walk/jump/drive off it to proceed' type puzzle. Best I can do really, the game rocks a fat one [:D]

WOW! Its stunning, amazing. Totally immersive and so much better than the first game. Its also very linear which i like of FPS games, you want action not to be wandering round! Fantastic!! Only just got the machine gun in the canal section!!

    Is it only on PC?

Will it be out on the XBox at all?

I've just finished the buggy section, wish I'd realised that the crane could pick up the shipping containers before I'd disposed of the combine troops, I could have tried swinging the containers into them

I think the linear approach works in it favour, its the kind of game where you'll end up playing it for hours just to get that bit further whereas a game like gta:sa you get to a point where you only dip into it for an hour or so.
