Excellent pics Personally, I prefer the look of mine with the deflectors on... But then, I like the contrast of the spoiler/grille/arches/deflectors against the red bodywork - with yours being a darker colour it might not have the same effect.
looks fantastic! i binned the deflectors,think mine suits without and yours too. know what you mean about contrast darren,i like the black bumpers against the red but thats enough 4 me gti they werent only on campaigns. Edited by: riley

I know they weren't ONLY on Campaigns (mine isn't one but has aleways had them afaik), but ALL Campaigns did have them. If you see what I mean.
I didn't know the wind deflectors reduce noise, thats a big plus for me so i'll give them a try sooner rather than later. Riley - don't think the deflectors would suit your car as you're not running any arches either. I'm not sure if ive asked this before but what does everyone think of the original silver side decals as i'll be shortly be putting some on like the mk1 in this picture higgim the wheels are made by mim Edited by: zak.

Ive got a paintwork to get done on the doors first and then i'm going to put them on. Not sure where too get the boot spoiler i'm afraid.
Hi, thats a beauty mate, both of them mk1s are, i would get the stripes, they suit the helious blue mk1 i think more than any other mk1, taz
Zak, I love the look of that car, Helios Blue looks sooo good on the Mk1 (it also look's good on the Mk2 ) The wheels suit it better with the dark centres, just lower that front a little and it'll be sorted. Edited by: alexc
