HELP!! Brake problem!!

    Looking forward to getting that!
    Uprated bushs and top mounts and passat master cylinder and I'm all ready for my engine sw*p! [:D]
    Thats one thing I won't attempt to do though! ;)

    just one thing, do you have a brake bias valve the now?

    Apparently there is one on there!
    I looked and its a small rectangular thing isn't it?
    If so, then its there!
    If not, then its something else....

    but other people have looked and said there is one

    or u talking about the thing that joins on to the T-pieces (where the front and rear brake lines join)?

    ok that's cool. it's a small wee box thing just in front of the rear beam, passenger side.

    i didn't have one so when i came to do a rear disc conversion i'd to fit a gti beam so it would have the bracket for the valve and renew all the brake lines from the master cylinder back.

    why are you changing the beam? bend it?

    Yeah, mines bent from an accident I had on boxing day.
    If i never had it, I would simply change the stub axles and bits!
    Alot quicker I guess!

    But at least this way I'll get to fully rub down and re-paint it all!

    mine was bent too after an unfortunate sideways meeting with a roundabout.

    i took my new beam back to bare metal and hammerite'd it too.

    saying that, it's probably only the axle stubs that are bent on yours- golf rear beams are pretty heavy duty [:D]

    I replaced the axle stub! lol

    I hit the kerb at about 30 on a wet night...

    Damn shame!
