My disc retaining screw is missing, and i dont know what to do [:s]

I dont feel safe driving it without as its obviously a very important part of the brakes.

    Help me please [:^(]

Are you positive, surely it must take some of the braking load [:s]

Actually, thinking about it, you are right. I'm so irresponsible about these things.
I suspect they do hold some of the braking force.

Hate to think what'd happen if I lose the front brakes coming back from the pub... [:^(] :thumbd:

I know, i had to do a handbrake turn to get stopped int he pub car park the other night - was quite tricky, as i could hardly see straight after the previous pub :)

Not when you consider the consequences if the brake disc span with the wheel.[:s]

r u joking how could this screw take a load from a car breaking

if u ever tried to put a wheel on without it in the disk turns and can be pain in the ass but serves only retaining purposes

It takes nearly all of the braking load if you are cornering at the time, that's why they are made from unobtanium instead of just mild steel. You could drive it to the dealer, but only brake when you're going in a straight line.

Double sided tape should be more than ample to secure the disc.
