Any given gutter, any given day.
And experience, which you clearly have little of.

if VW did a car that does what this one does for anywhere near the same money i'd buy it. But they don't - so here's mine!

i like the gearbox on the V6 - unusual ratios but on twisties ya can leave it in third and just enjoy the sound....

Dont want to change the clutch on one, try taking dropping just about everything, although i know a mate(fully trained mechanic)of mine did one (on a v6) in about 1hr 56 mins. Beat that and i'll buy you a pint.

Try and find that ecotec tuning guide that went round the vortex, gives you a complete parts and build listing for 1400bhp or something ridiculous like that.

well like i said i'd have bought a VW if i could find one that would do the job i wanted for anywhere near the price the cavalier was

but i needed something large enough for four adults and some kit, heavy enough (1200kg) to tow my other car, with air con, enough grunt to tow, and something that wouldn't be dull to drive when i'm not towing, but comfortable enough to do 200 miles each way home on a weekend.

VW just don't do a car that fits the bill.

    errr 2.0ltr 16 valve or 1.9tdi mk3 passat?[:[]

anyway as for the vectra, driven one and theyre poo. plastic
everywhere, tinny noisey cabin, harsh seats, poorly weighted power
    steering, and a harsh ride.

v6s sound cool tho, only problem is tho people hear a v6 comin turn around and laugh at the t**t in a family car!

come on they were even a joke in the btcc for christs sake!

but someones gotta buy em [:D]

    have fun

Not only that, they were rubbish. Possible the worst built VW's.
I've seen more really rough Mk3 Passats, than any other model VW.

I wouldn't touch one of them, either.

funny, everyone who see's mine coming shouts something like, go on give it some
if you wanna talka bout barghs the mk3 passat? the single worst looking vw ever!
about the vectra steering, i reckon its spot on, i'm used to non pas, so i find to get into a car with pas that has abit of weight to the steering is nice.
