Kwik Fit charge me 10 per tyre. Its on the computer so should be a standard rate.

Henley do, and they have a section on the computer to pay for it. Prints out as "fit customer supplied tyres"

Thats why we used to shift 6/7000+ a week out of Manchester and surrounding areas and charge for the priveledge?......[:s]

Even farmers have moved on in many cases... EA are clamping down on farmers now aswell.

Quite interesting reading the various costs related to tyres...

Punctures around Bolton used to be 5... whilst at the same time we used to charge 10 whch was cheap for the area...

how can they charge more for when you take in loose wheels and tyres than when you just drive the car in. surely it's 3 times are much work to jack up the car and remove the wheels and tyres?

It might be a Henley thing though, are they a national chain or franchised?

one of my local places was a bit funny with my asking for them to put on the tyres onto the wheels i had, said they wouldn't do it in case had a crash and the blame came back to them.

I think it was 25 for 4 fitted at my Kwik Fit last time I went - now I go to a place in the docks where the trucks go, that do them for buttons...

I always go in with wheel/tyres seperate from the car, so never seen that issue.

Got two tyres removed and 4 tyres fitted, balanced etc. for 20 by a local company that goes round to my dads work every couple of weeks, thought that was pretty good, considering the place i normally use charges 5 to remove and dispose of a tyre!
