That's pretty good, not many do it on TPFT policies. I wonder out of interest if they actually have an age limit for it or if it's just a vague guideline like Liverpool Vic's engine swap rules! I think I'll be getting a quote from HIC next time.

Minimum age is 21 i believe but there are other things they take in to consideration such as number of years of driving etc.

Doesn't explain Craig having it then! Wouldn't have thought it should be a problem for me but interesting to know what the different companies offer.

LOL . Got it towed home by one of my dads mates last Sunday. Still lots to do, most of the electrics don't work, had fungus on seats etc. Fagsport was a waste of time.

Gave it a good clean up, sorted the exhaust out. All thats left is dizzy and it should fire up.

It seems nearly everyone here is basing how good an insurance company is on how little the policy costs...?
You'll only find out how good they are when you actually need to make a claim, has anyone here had any experience making a claim with HIC?

Read the first page of the thread. Most people don't expect to crash, hence people just getting the cheapest cover.

May i emphasise the use of this smilie here ----> [8-}]

    My 2 options are:

    1) Pay 1500 a year for minimum cover of my car with an insurere that may or may not be fast at dealing with a claim should i have one.

    2) Pay 748 (HALF!!!) a year for HIC that offer a lot more cover (track day, stereo, 3rd party on other cars, track day etc...) and risk the chance i might have to wait a bit longer -- if i crash.

 Yes.. i know! I'm gonna pay double! [:s] [8-}][8-}][8-}][8-}][8-}]
