In Car Track vid

I thought you guys might be interested in this:

This is from a recent track day where I finished off my track tryes (6 of them!) so had a try on some Yokohama S306 budget tyres - made for an interesting drive - lots of tyre squeal and about 3 sec a lap slower - quite a lot considering its a 1.4km track.

Its from a geocities site so it might not work.

It works for me, using 'save as'.

Major tyre squeal - my wife shouts upstairs "Why can I hear a baby crying", I reply, "It's not a baby crying, it some random guy's tyres!"

 

You need some Michelin clio cup slicks -- wherever they may come from.

 

Oh, maybe it does work then?

I've got some Yoko A032Rs coming but they are taking forever!

What do you guys think the next upgrade should be? Eibach ARBs or a LSD?

They make Golf's handle.

Last year i drove Dex's car to Demon Tweeks. At the time he had old knackered Boge suspension on it and Eibach ARB's. And i had my 8v with 700 worth of coilovers, better tyres and no ARB's. His handled as good as mine!

 

Hmm, never seen a Golf with 6 wheels.......
