    As the others have said SirB - They make a lot of difference to the handling of a Golf 2 without needing stiff springs ;)

    They make the car turn in sharper and will feel a lot more stable in fast corners (S-X) ;)

    Thanks Gary, but I've already got the Bilstein NS shocks & springs so maybe there won't be that much of an improvement?

    You'd maybe not think so, but the anti-roll bars 'compliment' the suspension.

    ARBs make a hell of a difference,even to a car with a good suspension kit :) When I drove Job's Golf (no ARBs) around Spa, could tell the difference between that and mine with them instantly.

    You can get a car without ARBs to handle as well but it means using a lot stiffer springs ( not ideal for the bumpy NS);) What do Ring-Racing think about them?

    Okey doke ;) I've had them on the last two Golfs, and it would be one of the first things I'd recommend anyone to do when modifying a Golf for fast road/track use, the Eibach anti-roll bars are quite conservative (22/25mm), you can get stiffer ones such as Neuspeed 25mm front and a 28mm adjustable rear.

    LOL@GVK :)

    One place that stocks them lists them as this;

    ARBE8502.320
    Golf/Jetta Mk2 8/83-92 & Golf Mk3 (Not GTI/VR6)
    213.00

    but they're not known as the cheapest...

    *edit* a second I checked said this;

    Golf 2 1984-1992 205.63

    *Yawn, stretch, ahhhh*
    Sorry, bit tired after more or less non stop lapping of the Nordschleife yesterday from 10 until 4 o'clock, hope I'm awake enough for this afternoons session :lol:

    Anyway, Ring Racings verdict on the ARB things, they will improve the handling in tight corners but make the car more skittish in the faster sections, ie. Schwedenkreuz, Flugplatz, Fuchsrhre, Pflanzgarten! Those certainly ain't places where I want the car to be more skittish [:s]

    See ,I told you he was a baastard :lol:

    I have no problems with mine in those places, but then I'm about 40-50 secs a lap slower :lol:
