Standard cossie injectors are dirt cheap on Ebay, a straight swap for the existing ones, and you can have a Digi1 chip burnt to suit.....

Hehe - for about the first time I've ever looked there aren't any on for sale at the minute! Ususally there are several sets on at any time - just type in "injectors" as the search and you'll normally find a set or two listed. Here's some comleted ones to give you an idea of the money....

BTW the dark blue's are std. on the 4wd cossie, the yellows on the 2wd. Virtually no difference in flow.

A standard Digi one - they are a straight swap.

Which ECU are you going to use? Digifant cant handle cossy injectors, as the cossy ones are low ohm, and digi is hi ohm. Audi injectors work though

It can handle low ohm injectors if you run them in series instead of parallel - Digi1 batch fires, isn't sequential.

Does the Digi wiring loom run them in series by default?

Nope, it runs them in parallel. If you want to keep it that way you can just add a resistor in line with each injector to bring it from Cossie 3 ohm up to VW 16 ohm impedance. Not a major issue at all.

In that case you should be more than capable of wiring in a few ballast resistors...... [:D]

If they're the blue ones I saw earlier then they're good at that price considering they're nearly new - they'll probably go up a good bit though. I'd wait for a cheap set to pop up...... the cossie boys are always upgrading to greys and greens.....

    Nope, I'm just a very convincing liar...... [:D] ;)
