    well my last insurance was 900 on a integra type r i was 21, and thats group 18 - with tesco

    Direct Choice But like most insurers, what's good for the goose isn't neccessarily good for the gander, e.g. I got the best quote from them for my bike, another person said they were one of most expensive and NU was cheapest for him, NU were most expensive for me.

    You may try the AA if you're member (or even if you're not), they do alright by me on the car.

    Thought you guys might laugh at this - Im 22, 4yrs NCB and pay 760FC with Egg at the moment, but Screetrade.co.uk today quoted me.....

    I've had a cracking quote from Tesco's for an R32 recently - 776 fully comp and I'm only 25 with an SP30 [:D]Anyone had dealings with Tesco's?

    Have to say this for the girlies out there...

    Try James insurance company, based in sutton.
    For my first year as a 17year old TPFT named driver I paid 865. (To put this in perspective, my male mate, who had exactly the same car as me paid 2100 for his first year)

    My renewal quote for this year is 696. Best quote I have found, and other companies have told me to go for that quote as no-one else could do it cheaper. [:D]

    Wot car did u hav then? I had tescos 4 my 1st insurance on a fiesta 1.1, (Hhad bigger engine put in, didnt tel them that!) 695 3rd party. Astra was jus ova a grand, 3rd party :( Tescos been gd 4 me, but not wiv the golf gti's, they wont insure me.

    Mk2 Golf GTI 8v. parked on the street, central glasgow... non-factory alloys, 29, 3 years no claims, 400 @ elephant, about 200 cheaper than other nearest quote..
