Intercooler piping - DV & N75 pipes ?

    this is the sort of idea i'd go for on piping route

    ignore the fact its from a mk4 bay but the basic idea is what you need

    i guess the ultimate things to consider are the location of your intercooler up high behind headlight grill or down behind the bumper as either of these would affect the routing of piping to some degree

    Yea I like that to :thumbup:

    That's sort of what I had in mind. I still want to put the standard airbox in, as the smoothed and drilled one on my mk4 performs really well, and has a 3inch cold air feed going to the bottom of it.

    Yea mine is at the bottom of the bumper :)

    I'm sure with a bit of wizardry you'll come up with something that works really well maybe you could reposition the airbox slightly to allow the piping to mis it or something

    I personally don't like the standard box i think its a eyesore i think i would have a replacement box made with the same internal volume but in a neater/cleaner design

    Yeah the standard box does look poo.

    I might put one of those Polo 1.8t airbox's on. There smaller and look quite better. It's just finding one which is the problem !
