i used them twice yesterday. i had a "replace bolts that ive shagged in the past" afternoon. battery tray bolts were corroded to buggery and rounded down to nothing, even with a 6 side 10mm.

the bolt grip got them out in seconds.

i cant remember which set i got, but ive done the carrier bolts and some dead 10mm ones too

in fact, i did one of the inlet manifold bolts too that i killed at one stage also

Guys, i notice on the amazon reveiws that people mention the 10mm being too small to actually use on a 10mm headed bolt?[:s]

    Anyone else had that problem?

    Edit:Are these the sizes in the 5 piece set? 3/8" 7/6" 1/2" 9/16" 5/8"

    Cheers,Neil.

I agree with all the above comments, where have these irwins been all my life, ahem.

Stuck undoing carrier bolts on the ibiza we had, getting well riled and cursing, bought this set and got it off no probs. Just need to complete the set with the expansion pack.

Even helped out removing the 3 balljoint bolts which had broken the weld/bracket. though that was a bit awkward with a bunch of extensions for the ratchet.

I generally find that one of them will fit... a good smack with a hammer helps if they're a bit tight.

Battery tray bolt is 13mm head in my cars...

70nm for the rear. as for the bolt grips, get them from machine mart, you need the set that comes with the box, that one has the one that does the rear carrier
