Unfortunatly not, I used my dad's new digi cam as it has a video facility and you can connect it to a TV but found that it has no sound DOH!!

Just re-hung the exhaust on custom made wire mounts after destroying the rubber ones on the rollers yesterday! loads better now

nah I made some up with loops of 4mm multistrand wire using a taloretting set that the old man's got for making yacht stays, they should do the trick.

    Glad you found it helpfull,

Car had now completed a few sprints and a day at Castle Combe without any problems. Had a second RR session with Mike from Ratt Racing to check a lambda setting on the ECU and with the adition of a lower temprature thermostat and a larger 32mm breather saw an increace to 204bhp with a 7600 rev limit. On the previous RR session the limiter was lifted to 7800 for one run to see it it would break the magic 200!

Should out at Donny next weekend if everything goes to plan.

watch out for the noise police at Donny - TB car with no airbox and with some compression will be very loud......wouldn't be very suprised at all if you get booted off

I didn't get any trouble at Combe, 94db at 4.5k and didn't sound "that" loud drive by... the ramp angle on the cams is prity mild so the induction pulses aren't as aggressive as some which is what makes all the noise from what I understand.

I'l see how I get on... only time Graham (mad 20v) and Joe Fulbrooke used to have trouble up there was when they were passing the noise meter side by side!

Its easy enough to get tailpipe noise down to about 95 like what you had measued - driveby is another matter for TBd cars - seem to recall Mad20v getting booted before, think ChrisMC did, and there is no way I can go to Donny anymore sadly

So best of luck, looking forward to seeing your motor:thumbup:

Lovely build with great results!

Not as loud as I thought it would be. I've got the same exhaust system with two boxes and manifold on a standard abf and its bloody loud on full chat. I'm guestimating over 97db. But I would have thought yours was much much louder. [:s] ?
