Ha ha, yeh ,did you spot the cop car at the top of the hill pulling out of the petrol station on the left? Thought i had better ease off after coming over the brow near a ton.

It`s a DogCam sport bullet cam (the one I was talking about before for Curby). Costs about ten times the amount of the one in this thread, but the GF got it for my birthday/Xmas so cost me nowt! ;)

Uses external suction mount, that they say they`ve tested to 185mph.

Kit also included internal mounts too. I`ll post a test vid of that later.

Went out for a little play earlier...

Road was really greasy, but had a laugh anyway.

Cam is excellent for 20 (a good find Horney, thanks:thumbup:).
Doesn't quite cope sound wise; but for something that you can just cable tie to the grill and not worry about, it's perfect.

Good bit of video, where was it shot, looks a bit like Burrington Coombe/Cheddar area?

I'm guessing from the sound that was the Mk1?

Yes, that's Burrington Combe. I was going to carry on through to Cheddar but the weather was closing in.
Good guess, it's the Mk1.

I noticed you've signed up for Curborough, are you tempted to get a camera?

I doubt my efforts will be worth recording, it'll look like it was filmed in slow motion:lol:

    Are you going?

Doesn't look like it, it's the Caterhem meeting at Combe, so i'm probably off up there.

There seem to be some generic ones and some branded 'Muvi' which cost a bit more. Which type have folks got?

Mine came in a white box Saying 'World Smallest Voice Recorer' (!?) on the front. It has a 'star' of six of them in different colours. It says MiniDV on the side. Not quite a 1000 words, but a picture would have been better

Once they are set up properly they are fine, i've not had any issues with them.
The fuel consumption goes up (of course), mine gets around 26-27mpg on a long sensible run, 21-22mpg commuting and high teens on a blast. Power is in the mid 190s. It's an ABF by the way.
