Been playing for an hour or so, what an awesome game. Already bought a Mk1, Mk2 16v, Corrado Vr6 and won a Scirocco GT. Got an R36 engine conversion in my Mk2 already.

 

A lot of catching up for the rest of us on Friday

 

I did read that game were sending out the games early to beat the postal strike!

Hopefully my preorder turns up on friday, ive got the afternoon off and the mrs is out that weekend!

I haven't got round to pre-ordering it, so I'm kindof hoping I can waltz in Morrisons or similar and pick it up off the shelf....

 

LMAO. Been playing it most the evening.

Got a twin turbo Mk2 Golf R36 and a N/A Mk1 Golf GTI 16v screamer at present.

Oh, got way more cars but these are the only two that have been hit with the modding stick.

Driver level 8 at present.

 

i would give game a ring re-order a copy mate as you don't want to be the only one not playing it on Friday i can believe i cancelled my game.co.uk pre-order to play in safe have to wait till friday know

 

Want to go home and race my stripped out Mk1 2.0 16v caged 4wd animal of a GTI!!!

 

I've 'kind of' recreated my Mk1... 16v conversion with ITB's, no silly horsepower, just a smidge below 200bhp, gone for some Mo's and sport tyres... but I just cant keep the back end to stay inline more setup work required I think.

Oh and try to avoid the kerbs if you make a car quite stiff... I rolled my Mk1 at Sebring. Not sure whether to upload the picture or not yet.

750k, driver level 15. I've only brought and modded the one Mk1 at the moment.

 

I have no money left now lol. My Mk1 is rather rapid. Half way working through a Gulf paintjob too!

The postie delivered my collectors edition from Blockbusters today. Just in the knick of time and once again those who panicked changing their orders get the game last

The R36'd 698HP Mk2 is an animal around Camino Viejo the best I've done on there so far is a 1:07 all parts no adjustments.

Oh and don't do what I did and install disc 2 outside the game it really doesn't like it. I had to drop out and delete it.

 

Me too, i installed both first. Big mistake. Installing the play disc first is fine. But leave Forza to install the install disc.

 

Anyone know if ASDA will be doing this cheap?

havnt a clue when im getting my game, ive had it on preorder from play since july, it was dispatched yesterday so will be stuck in transit somewhere now due to the postal strike

 

just go into town and buy it then sell the play.com copy when you get it you will have no trouble shifting it on eBay and the like

 

Cant be bothered with that, its only a game after all!
