is this a thermotime switch ? looks like the temp sensers on all 16v ?

 

No thats what the abf CLT looks like, what happened to your 9A one, im just using my 9A one which toyotech said may be the same, so gotta check!

As seen on the right of the water flange. In this above picture the ABF engine is ready to run K-Jet. So the NTC coolant temp sensor was replaced on the left with a sensor for either the ISC, ignition or temp gauge and the blank with the thermo time switch.

You need the two pin unit as seen in the preceeding post. There are availabe from ECP or GSF.

 

Got the abf senser,and tried to fit it,problem came when I realised I've already tapped off the coolent hole at the side of The head ,this feeds the turbo coolent,anyways I fitted it to the other hole which is dry ,I guess that ok,it works tho. Only issue is that the senser flange is hitting the water outlet flange,its in but not tight ,

 

I needs to be in coolant really to give acurate readings.
