Is this the best place to get kits? Do they ship as low value?

I'm looking to buy a kit myself at the moment. Will be watching this thread. Have got a zetec coilpack and was thinking of going wasted spark also.

K-Jet is like playing hoopla at the funfair. Megasquirt is the equivalent of walking up to the peg and placing the hoop on it.

The ABF has a standard bottem end and cams but with a KR head (not that makes any difference).

I will use the 60-2 oem wheel for now. I hear stories about them breaking loose with high torque/rpm motors though so might look into using the 20vT external wheel if this is a problem with future development.

I liked building and testing mine. just follow instructions its fairly straight forward. You may have to switch between main manual and the ms extra manual when doing ignition bits.

    *Cough*
    4 ABFs.

Mine was done over 3 years ago...and the first one to be done, as far as I know!

    Details here:
    http://www.basildaham.com/

Go to '16v tuning' then 15 down on the left hand column.

    Edit to add details.

Leave it out. That cap is a bridge between earth and the filtered VR signal. Not that you would be using this circuitl anyway as you would be on the "OPTIN" circuit so ABF hall sensor users need not worry.
I regularly swap one ECU between different engines hall and vr types, when bebugging issues. You don't want another unwanted unknown in the mix.
