    Took the car for its MoT yesterday ,sailed straight through with no advisorys,so celebrated by having a blat through the Kent countryside and along the seafront for a pose!!!

    Well I'm not going to lie today has been hell!! all though 5 mins jobs have taken nigh on 8hrs!!!!! [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Autocavan brake bar installed and working after,welding,cutting ,rethreading etc etc

    Solid rack mounts fitted (massive pain in the **** job) and now I cannot get first gear [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]need to adjust linkages [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Well I would love to give you a amazing update on how I have done this and that,but basically I've done sod all apart from drive it twice!!!![:s]

    New wheels arrived this week will fit them Friday but I purchased some Compomotive TH2 7x16" with Yoko Parada 195/45x16 to replace the Fuchs I had fitted and Cookie Cutters have been replaced with some 2nd hand Rimstar 5 spokes with ET of 18,that now have my ACB 10's fitted

    Spent the day with the entire Autoglym range or so it felt and fitted new wheels

    i kinda like but dont like the wheels it looks more motorsport which i like but the old rims were proper lush lol

    all the same i love the car cant wait to see it again next week you coming up on friday morning convoy stylee if so ill grab some ear plugs lol

    Become a bit of a Autocavan Junkie and last year acquired a WRC rear mount and a Super brake bar, and today this,probably paid to much but hey ho its only money!!:lol:

    Can't believe i've not seen it about..... i live in Herne Bay too.[:s]
    Do you get down to the track days at Lydden at all?
    Got a Mk2 track/road car myself. Have to go out for a blat one sunday morning next summer maybe?:thumbup:

    Well its been a quite few months and the weather is not really on my side (or anyone else's unless you have a heated garage!!:lol: ) i have a very small list of what needs doing this winter(compared to some years,must be making progress)

    Replace rear beam

    Thats it job done roll on the summer months:thumbup:
