MK1 Golf built in 83 bought in '03 and and still not completed!!!

    Must add new pics soon as new Poly carb window set now fitted,Ball joint extenders and Bug jam track rod end conversion kit, 4 point lower brace replacing old 2 point omp one ,also spare wheel well cut out and plated over.

    It never stops:lol:

    looks gorgeous!!!

    saw one like this on the M4 a few years ago near bristol, not this one reading the history of it. great read, you got any pics of the build?

    Collo,

    How did you get on with the pedal bias box? Have you fitted it yet?!! If so, i'd be interested in pinching ur 22mm MC and remote resiviour from you!!:lol:

    No its not gone in yet!,are you desperate for the servo etc? if mot you can have first refusal when I change it:)

    well i got the servo sorted, its the MC i'm still having problems with TBH. In fact, i'm having problems witht the whole brake system, but there we go!! lol

    If you wanna sell the pedal box back to me i'm sure i would oblige!! lol

    Right ho big weekend coming up before car is wrapped up for the winter

    1/ Fit new front coilovers Done
    2/ Fit new Bonrath top mounts Done
    3/ Fit modified hub assemblies with new bearings,track rod ends now mount underneath not from top like normal(helps reduce bump steer!!) Done
    4/ Fit lower ball joint extenders done
    5/ Remove rear wheel well and plate remaing hole with aluminium chequer plate. DONE
    6/ Fit new 4 point front lower brace
    7/ Fit solid steering rack mounts
    8/ Fit new bellmouth filters Done
    9/ Fit new fuel regulator filter done
    10/ Put to bed for the winter Phew!! pics will follow next week

    Right ho as promised some progress pics from saturday,did'nt quite get all finished still setting front ride height and rebound but not to bad for 7 hours work!!
