hello peoples thought I,d start a build thread, new to this so you will have to bear with me. lost my garage a while back so work came to a stop consequently my car wont be ready for this year so Ive got the little black and green number so I can have fun this year. Have a new unit to work in as of next week now so off we go again, this is what Ive done so far first of all stripped underside got rid of any rotten bits and welded any weldy bits evicted the wheel well back panel off new one doctored and on then sealed all the joiney bits arches were next to go
Green and black is a 1.8 16v for hill climb the other is going to be a 2.0 of some description to enter 2.0 group H of the berg cup, somthing Ive wanted to for a while now. hopefully will be ready for 2013
wanted to keep a handbrake so made some bits and moved it back a bit next, exhaust exit, this was fun! then I'm back to the interior which is where am to date move into a new unit next week so will be back on it
also binned the willwood pedal box and knocked up my own, a bit heavier but got pedal spacing exactly where I want it
Lovely fabbing. Look forward to seeing this progress. Remember seeing the black/green Mk1 for sale somewhere too. Pistonheads?
