    Thought these 16" CSA Velocity's (Australian made) looked rather nice on my silver Mk2 without being revvish. Perhaps too modern for a Mk 1.

    Yeah definately a bit modern for the Mk1 - good to see an Aussie here, though!

    You're in NSW by the look of the plates (nice GTI VW too ;) )

    I'm in Hobart, My SEAT is an Aust. delivery model as is the Mk1. Is your car from GTI imports? If not, where?

    The wheels are Spitfire MkII's. We have a massive range of stuff like this down here as it's really popular to do up old Holdens (of course), so this is a popular type of rim. Something different for ppl here to see it on a Mk1, though! I reckon they're REALLY nice wheels and pretty cheap too

    I imported mine personally when I moved back from living in Europe. Stuffed it in with the rest of our junk in a container.

    I used to be a Hobart boy (many years ago). Might even have my dub down there in the next month as NSW has few exciting roads and I have rellies down there.

    I agree, i love the Compomotive/sparco type rally/racing wheels at the moment.
