I've not done many runs, prefer the corners myself.

I was using more water than fuel!!!
leaking head gasket...it wouldnt pull over 100 mph!!! lol
had to slow down after every run to allow the temps to drops

still gave it my best, 1/4 mile time isnt too bad tho :)

It had a little work done.
1.8 KR 16v standard bottom end
Flowed head with twin exhaust cam mod
    Optimised K-Jet
    Supersprint exhaust
3.89 final drive on standard 16v ratios
    Quaiffe diff
    Helix clutch

I think that was about it. Made 165-168bhp & 134lbft at Stealth a few years back.

Don't suppose you have a time for the Mk1 2l 16V running without the nitrous turned on?

For what its worth, mine is 2.0 16V in a Mk1 too, KR cam, otherwise stock motor, 1800GTI gearbox, semi (cut) slicks, stripped out a little in the rear:

Looking a little closer at your times, by the 1/8 mile point I'd be ahead of you, but you'd already be 5mph quicker (and at some point would overtake me in the next 1/8 mile). So is your nitrous really adding 100bhp?????
