A few bits have been going on in the background. Painting a few bits, buying some parts, playing with haldex stuff.

but most of my time has been having fun in my new toy. who knew 10mph could be fun?

Nice! Makes me feel like a proper tree-hugger with my 20 MPG outhouse on wheels.

Bought some sound deadening for the Golf so the interior can be properly reassembled now.

Took the disco off roading. Wow that’s fun.

Well I’m going to work on the Golf this weekend. I was hoping to get the tank welded this week but I’ve had to fix families cars instead.

So we’ll see what we can achieve.

Upgraded my Snap On to this. Not sure how I feel about it yet. Although I’ve only used it once. May return it and keep my Snap On gun

    Why?

I've loads of MW gear, it's ace.

My 3 favourites are the m12 3/8 socket gun, ratchet and right-angle die grinder.

Milwaukee dont have the build quality of snap on, i am in the same boat as the OP... i have probably 4 or 5 9Ah batteries with shot cells and craked carcases, milwaukee are good impacts but they are for builders not for mechanics- the rubber mouldings are not oil resistant !

That 3/8 stubby impact is great, but I prefer my Snap On rocker switch.

It feels really top heavy, it’s waaaay to reliant on an app to set the modes properly. If you don’t connect it you don’t get full power from the start, wtf?

I’ve got the M18 drill, impact, grinder and circular saw which is great for home stuff.

    Next up is this mess.

How do you find the weight of the milwaukee?
One of the lads in work has drill, driver and impact driver, ( woodworking company) and compared to my hikoki equivalents or dewalt, and makita they seem quite a lot heavier almost to the point of unbalanced, suppose you would get used to it but using his for an hour was tiring on my old arm.

    Nice intercooler.

Mk1 tt seats on 53fab subframes are good, or think boxster seats are same bolt pattern as tt so an option possibly.

It’s very too heavy. I find the drill/driver package fine but the 1/2” impact is heavy and feels unbalanced. We’ll see.

    Thanks ;)

I’m not a fan of the TT seats, I like the look and feel of the Fiesta ST recaro’s but they’re pricey, these will do for now.

I don't use the app on anything, don't see the point.

I never had Strap-On( :p) but I've mates who had , and upgraded to MW.

Hey, I like it when he goes in dry.

If I didn’t connect to the app it wouldn’t let me have full power. It was only 1200nm of torque not the full 1800nm or whatever it was
