You have got to look at his point of view buying the cars 600 each at least a turnover of 4 to keep good stock levels a unit to rent 500 a month wage to break cars 300 a week pay VAT ebay fees paypal fees and loads more bills. come on dont compare to what you sell out of you garrage.

He is buying the stuff from Vw and selling it on at a huge mark up....... Where is the unit to rent, he does break a few but not his main selling point! I know he buys off car breakers, Do you imagine he is declaring this income to the tax man[:s]

People like Chubnuts (GPC-Luton) & VW stevens & to a point VW Heritage have done this for yeras

so why the hatred for this one seller? when i had my car resprayed the ony place i could but a tailgate decal was gpc and they wanted 40.00 of it plus postage, i'm sure it wasn't genuine when it came,

if you dont like his prices - simple answer - don't buy

but dont just pick on him as a seller there are others that just do the same and have donr it for longer.

a perverse way of looking at it and i guess this will causse more rupuions is that the more parts he keeps selling from VW the more likely they are to keep making parts for these old cars, which are now classics

i dont see any issue with this as long as we can keep getting the parts we need

but if we couldn;t get the parts from vw due to lack of demand we wouod all be up in arms moaing which would also mean more cars being busted for parts, which would mean parts getting even harder to find and the prices goingr even more than what they are now.

That logic could only come from XMG? It's not all about XMG although he is by far the biggest rip off merchant...

See you talk the same *****e on here as elsewhre

    simple as demand = supply

    no demand = no supply

,y mate has an ur quattro and he has right problens geting parts audi have a web site called tradition which dealers sell ther old stock at mega silly prices as audi wont make any new parts.

they say they dont have enough demand to make new bits so people have to break cars to get parts now or use paten parts if made

He's a total rip off merchant.

Everyone shludl buy from classic direct, If he didn;t mark stuff up as much then it'd be more acceptable. Be he also outright lies saying stuff is obsolete, yet he just buys the stock driect from VW!!

    To55er tbh

So what do you do ?? buy the Audi parts cheap and sell them to your mate at a huge markup or point your mate in the direction of the supply??

If you are such an honest dubber Why do you have to sneak around with fake identity... I just want people to be aware you are ripping them off...it's not just me that is saying this... End of really:thumbup:

Oh yes some threats would be nice now.....shake shake quiver

You can always buy from VW Classic or their official agents. As always, it pays to shop around and do your research.

Two of our Club sponsors specialise in Old Stock Genuine Parts - VW Heritage and Deutsche Parts. I suggest you check with them too.

We're becoming victims of "classic tax", I saw an awful lot of it when I owned my classic Mini. It always seemed to be people out to make a fast buck without any interest in the cars themselves, or a greedy "enthusiast" who held their car in much higher regard than it deserved.
It'll only get worse as the classic status grows.
